Injectable treatments at our Yorkville clinic
Injectable treatments can soften expression lines, restore lost volume and refine features such as the lips, cheeks, chin and jawline without surgery. Dr. Cory Torgerson, FRCSC, and his team offer neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Nuceiva), hyaluronic acid fillers from the Juvéderm, Restylane, Teosyal RHA and Redensity families, Radiesse, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
Each product works differently. Neuromodulators relax the muscles that create dynamic lines, while fillers add structure and hydration where volume has been lost. Your consultation includes a facial assessment so the product, amount and placement are matched to your anatomy and goals. Results are temporary, vary from person to person and are not guaranteed.
Injectables: frequently asked questions
How do I know which injectable is right for me?
It depends on whether a concern comes from muscle movement, volume loss or skin quality. Dr. Torgerson assesses your face at your consultation and explains which product, if any, suits your goals.
How long do injectable results last?
It varies with the product, the treatment area and your own metabolism. Neuromodulators usually last a few months and many hyaluronic acid fillers last longer. Your injector will explain the expected timeline for your plan.
Is there downtime after injectables?
Most people return to normal activities the same day. Temporary redness, swelling or bruising at injection sites can occur, and you will receive aftercare instructions at your appointment.
Can injectables be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Injectables are often combined with laser or skin treatments. Timing matters, so combined plans are scheduled during your consultation.
