What is SculpSure?

SculpSure is an entirely non-invasive liposuction laser procedure that heats up fat cells in target areas to melt and destroy them, eliminating them from your body. How Does It Work?

SculpSure uses the process of thermolipolysis, which means destroying fat cells through heating. It is a hyperthermic laser fat-removal system that applies powerful laser energy directly onto the problem area. The SculpSure laser heats up the fat cells by emulsifying them, meaning that the fatty cells are simply melted away. From there, your body will remove the dead and unwanted fat cells via its natural elimination actions.

The Procedure

To begin the procedure, the patient will lie down, and up to four SculpSure applicators will be applied onto problem areas. The laser applicators are then attached to the brackets on the machine before beginning the body-contouring and fat-melting treatment. As the treatment begins, patients should expect to feel a warm sensation on the problem areas until SculpSure’s cooling technology quickly begins in order to protect patient’s skin and ensure their comfort. Once the procedure is completed, patients are able to return to their normal daily routine immediately without any downtime or worry of side effects. As SculpSure relies on your body to remove the fat cells through their natural elimination process, results from the treatment will appear gradually.

The Results

It is vital for patients to have realistic expectations of the results from the SculpSure treatment. In general, reductions of 3 to 4 centimetres per problem area are typical after 1 to 3 treatments. Each treatment is about 6 weeks apart to allow for the body’s natural elimination process to occur. At the end of 1 to 3 sessions, a drop in one dress size can be expected.

Who is a good candidate?

Good candidates for SculpSure treatments are patients with realistic expectations of results from the body-sculpting treatment. The procedure is not geared toward weight loss, but toward body sculpting and defining problem areas. SculpSure is amazing at sculpting the body to create a more attractive physique, but it is not a replacement for a healthy diet and exercise. It is in the patient’s best interest to maintain a healthy lifestyle and use SculpSure as a mechanism to get rid of stubborn areas of fat. Also, patients with pacemakers or unstable medical diseases and pregnant patients are typically unsuitable for the SculpSure treatment.
